Well, I recently had a friend ask me this question. And I was delighted to respond with ” spending time outdoors walking, looking at plants; forest, and flowers, discovering caves and enjoying rolling hills. Learning more about their purpose and where they originated from and what health benefits they may offer, but most of all what they are, how did they form and how they help our land, prairie’s, plateau’s, rivers, lakes and highlands. I had such a fascination with the outdoors as a kid and a young adult that I find that being outdoors is just so much more relaxing and mentally healthy that I crave the feeling. It’s just such a nice inner warmth of a happiness, and there really isn’t anything that can replace the warm sunshine or the lite drops of rain on one’s skin. I recommend being outdoors each day doing something as simple as digging in the dirt tending to a vegetable garden or flowers; the feeling and the smell’s and helping plants grow, is just simply “wonderful.”
